Academy Program (U6-U10) in Milwaukee

The most important ages for skill acquisition, basic understanding of the game, and for learning movement mechanics are ages 6-10!  At FC Wisconsin we provide young athletes these FUNdamentals in a fun soccer environment designed to teach players the basics and inspire them to love the sport.  No matter how far the game has taken any player - every college and national team star began learning the game in a local development program.

The U6-U10 FC Wisconsin Youth Academy Program provides training and competition opportunities for U6, U7, U8, U9, and U10 players in the fall, winter and spring seasons.  Each program is tailored to the needs of each individual player, and all players learn the fundmentals of athletic movement (agility, balance, coordination) and soccer technique and decision-making (passing, dribbling, shooting, receiving, defending).  The Youth Academy teams are staffed with the same expert coaches that train the club's ECNL teams - with fun activities and developmentally appropriate games.  Training methodology for the Academy Program is based on the top developmental methodologies used across the world.

Pre-ECNL Program (U11-U12) in Milwaukee and in Madison

The FC Wisconsin U11 and U12 Pre-ECNL Program is the prepatory step between the Academy Program and the club's flagship ECNL Program.

The Pre-ECNL Program has teams in both Milwaukee and in Madison.  Both sites have independent training programs, with the same development curriculum.  Players from both sites will frequently intermix in competition throughout the year.

Click here for details on the Madison program.  Below are the details of the Milwaukee program.

The sole focus in the Pre-ECNL Program is on individual development - specifically in continuing teaching technical skill and understanding with the ball, and decision-making in small tactical groups.  Over the course of the year, the U11 and U12 teams have approximately 30 games and 110 training sessions throughout the fall, winter, and spring.  This ratio of training to games is deliberately selected to maximize development and learning in these critical developmental age groups.  All teams in the Pre-ECNL Program are staffed with the same coaches that work in the club's ECNL Program.
